August 2025 Release Notes

Save time with our new auto-collect feature

Let us handle data collection from new meters for you. Auto-collect accelerates your business processes by automating the initial collection of customer data upon customer authorization. Instead of the multiple-step process of:
- Receiving a notification,
- Logging into your dashboard, and
- Selecting “Get Data”
The new auto-collect features do all this for you. When you enable auto-collect in your dashboard, here’s what happens:
- We will automatically collect data for all authorizations with three or fewer electric meters, completed using our web portal adapter or green button proxy data access methods.
- You will pay the same price as if you manually initiated the collection or collections of data;
- Your business processes are optimized and uninterrupted.
Auto-collect also works regardless of how meters are associated with authorizations created via our direct utility connections, using our green button OAuth method.
Auto-collect is a self-serve feature that can be enabled or disabled by your account’s admin at any time in your Dashboard settings. Try it out today!
Massachusetts interval data unlocked: Eversource

Usage Link, Eversource Energy’s deployment of our utility data exchange (UDX) product is now live, and data is available for all accounts with AMI meters in Massachusetts.
Using the Green Button OAuth data access method, registered and approved users can access customer meter, bill, and interval data at no cost.
Run into a customer without an AMI meter? Don’t worry, you can use our Eversource web portal adapter to access their data.
More data for Michigan Projects: Indiana Michigan Power

AEP’s latest deployment of our utility data exchange (UDX) product is now live for Indiana Michigan Power (IMP) in Michigan. This platform enables secure, no-cost access to bill and interval data in IMP’s Michigan service territory through the Green Button OAuth method.
This expansion builds upon earlier deployments of UDX in AEP’s Southwestern Electric Power Company service territories in Texas and Louisiana.
Power smarter workflows with Integrations

We’ve added an Integrations page to our website, allowing you to easily view all the software platforms you can connect with your UtilityAPI account and maximize the value of the data you’ve collected.
By connecting your UtilityAPI account to these platforms, you can:
- Accelerate the development of your latest solar and storage proposal via Aurora Solar or Open Solar.
- Map, monitor, and maximize the revenue of your distributed energy resources with Texture.
- Measure and monetize your energy projects, Energy Attribute Certificates (EACs) with WattCarbon.
Whether you are building proposals, running financial models, or tracking carbon impacts, these integrations make it easier to utilize UtilityAPI data in the tools that drive your projects.
